Mental Health

The Cochise Family Advocacy Center has mental health services on-site to provide crisis management, risk assessments, and trauma therapy.

Trauma-Focused Therapy is a specific approach to therapy that is distinguished by understanding how a traumatic experience impacts mental, behavioral, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual well-being. Trauma Focused Therapy recognizes the connection between the trauma experience and emotional and behavioral responses. The purpose of this therapy is to offer skills and strategies that assist the client in better understanding, coping with, and processing emotions and memories tied to traumatic events.
