What We Do.

The Cochise Family Advocacy Center is a client-focused facility. Here, professionals in disciplines including law enforcement, child safety, medical, mental health, and victim advocacy work together for the benefit of victims of child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking cases.  Case coordination includes crisis response, investigation, prosecution, treatment, and support.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to be a resource facilitator for best practice in the field of abuse treatment, investigation, and prosecution. We achieve this by:

  • Combining the wisdom and professional knowledge of victim services-related professionals in one place, resulting in a more complete understanding of case issues and the most effective responses.

  • Reducing trauma to children and adults by decreasing repeated interviewing by multiple persons.

  • Preventing further victim abuse through victim safety education and by removing perpetrators from the community through prosecution.

  • Enhancing the ability of a parent/caretaker to care for a child or dependent adult of trauma. Increasing caretaker knowledge of community resources.

OUR MISSION

Our Mission is to provide compassionate support to all victims of violent crimes in a safe, neutral, friendly environment.
